Whale & Star Wynwood is proud to introduce an innovative mixed-use development at the heart of Miami’s most dynamic neighborhood, Wynwood. Located at 2215 NW 1st Place, the eight-story project will span half a city block and feature a new 214-key The Cloud One Hotel, 87 residential condominiums, ground floor retail, a rooftop bar, and parking. Groundbreaking is scheduled for H2 2025.

The Cloud One Hotel in Wynwood is part of The Cloud One Hotels, the new lifestyle brand of the Motel One Operating Group, which is set to launch more than 10 new properties in the US and Europe by 2026. The hotel component will occupy levels 2 through 5, offering 214 elegantly designed rooms that cater to both business and leisure travelers.

The residential section will comprise 87 suites on levels 6 through 8, including studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. Penthouse units will feature loft-style second levels including floor to ceiling windows and private balconies. Residences will be serviced by The Cloud One Hotel.

The rooftop will be a vibrant social hub, featuring a centerpiece restaurant and bar venue along with pool and gym serving hotel guests, condominium residents and selected access to the general public.

Whale & Star Wynwood Owner LLC, a joint venture comprised of partners originating from Europe and the US, brings extensive expertise and track record in real estate development, operating and design to the project.

Built upon extensive input from the predominantly European, German and Swiss partnership, the building’s design is a collaboration between New York-based HWKN and Miami-based ODP Architects. Part of the joint venture are the Motel One Group, Germany, Ralf Büschl, Founder and Chairman of the BÜSCHL Group of Companies, Germany, as well as Sebastian Lüdke, Founder of ALP.X Group, Germany.

Fortis Design Build of Miami is the local development manager. Douglas Elliman will serve as the residential condominium broker. Goldman Global Arts acts as art advisor and curator to the consortium

The overall mixed-use project will be built to NGBS certification standards, underscoring a commitment to sustainability.
